DMCA and copyright
Last updated June 8, 2026
Real Job Check respects the intellectual property rights of others and responds to copyright complaints consistent with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
Real Job Check generally does not publish user-submitted job postings publicly. We analyze what you submit and return a result to you. Even so, if you believe material available through our service infringes a copyright you own, you can use the process below.
How to send a notice
Send notices of claimed copyright infringement to Aliso LLC dba Real Job Check through our contact form with the subject "DMCA notice". To be valid, your notice should include:
- The copyrighted work you say was infringed, such as its title, description, or registration number if available, or a representative list.
- The exact URL on realjobcheck.com where the material appears, so we can find it.
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or are authorized to act for the owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Notices that do not substantially meet these requirements may be delayed, or may not get a response, while we ask you for more information. When we receive a complete notice, we will review it and take the action we consider appropriate under applicable law.
Counter-notice
If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you can send a counter-notice through our contact form. It should include:
- The material that was removed and the URL where it appeared before removal.
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the U.S. federal district court for the district where you live, or, if you are outside the United States, the district where we may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the notice.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
What happens next
If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may send a copy to the person who filed the original notice. Unless that person files a court action to stop the claimed infringement, we will generally restore the material in not less than 10 and not more than 14 business days after we receive your counter-notice, unless we have another lawful reason not to.
Repeat infringers
Real Job Check maintains and reasonably implements a policy of terminating access, in appropriate circumstances, for people who repeatedly infringe copyright.
